Yule Log
Traditional French Christmas cake shaped like a log.
Ingredients:
- Eggs, separated
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups heavy cream (filling)
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (filling)
- 8 oz chocolate (ganache)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (ganache)
- Powdered sugar for dusting
