Tan-Men

Japanese vegetable ramen with salt-based broth.

Ingredients:

  • 2 packages (6 oz/170g) ramen noodles
  • 4 cups (960ml) chicken or pork broth
  • 2 cups (140g) cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup (100g) carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup (100g) bean sprouts
  • 1 cup (70g) mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 lb (225g) pork belly, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
